Mulholland Under the Stars Trail Race 🌙

Welcome to the Mulholland Under the Stars Trail Race, a celebration of endurance, community, and Southern California’s beautiful trails. Whether you're a seasoned ultrarunner or new to trail racing, we have a distance for everyone. Join us for an unforgettable evening following the lights and making your mark on this scenic, challenging course.
Course Highlights
Run through the breathtaking landscapes of the Santa Monica Moutains on a lighted course. Admire the city lights and stars above all at the same time.
5K: A fun run with 509 feet of elevation gain out-and-back.
10K: A bigger challenge with 855 feet of elevation gain and reach the infamous Nike Missile Site.
Safety
All runners must start with a working headlamp or flashlight. Lights must last your whole race. We will check lights at bib pick-up. Per MRCA safety protocol, no light = no start.
Aid Stations
-5K: Aid at ~mile 1.5.
-10K: Aid at ~mile 3.0.
Note: This is a cupless event. Bring a bottle or container for fluids.
Cutoff Time
-Official cutoff is 8:00 PM for both races.
Post-Race Activities
At the finish line, you will receive your medal 🏅and race t-shirt👕. Then, kick back and enjoy Awards ceremonies.
Recover with some food and good company and music to keep the energy high!
